Linda has been living and painting near the village of Ompah, North of Sharbot Lake, for many years. Her work is inspired by the beautiful natural environment she has been surrounded with there. These include her garden, her friends and the spectacular landscape of North Frontenac County. She often senses an underlying mystery and significance in what she sees, and tries to capture this in her paintings. Although she has worked in many media, watercolour and acrylic works comprise the majority of her pieces at present. She is becoming more interested in the abstract qualities of her nature interpretations, and this is reflected in her recent work.
