Recently retired, and living in the Ompah area, I now have the time to restart my artistic journey and focus on my love of painting and drawing. You will see acrylic and oil paintings dealing with a variety of subject matter including landscape, still life and the human figure. My goal is to explore new ways of engaging with traditional subject matter and I tend toward abstraction rather than realism. My work uses high value contrast and bold brushwork. I live on a lake and I love to travel, so I paint what is in front of me.
