Wendy is passionate about cyanotype - the art of sun photography - a camera-less technique that harnesses the light of the sun to create stunning blue and white images. In its simplest form, the cyanotype process involves creating a print by arranging objects on specially coated material - like paper- and exposing it to the sun's rays. Wendy's work is largely nature-inspired, which is reflected in most of the pieces she creates.

Yellow House Studio is aptly named for Wendy's yellow house, which sits right in the middle of a couple of acres of lawns and gardens, with a little woods behind, in the community of Dunrobin, Ontario.
