I have always drawn or painted images that inspire me and continue to do so. Of all the different things I have done, art has been the most consistent influence of my life. I have been exposed to many styles of art from abstract to high realism and tried them all depending on inspiration and aims with a particular subject and I can switch from one medium to another. In high school, I took drafting. I studied art at the Chicago Academy of Art, The Three Schools in Toronto and took many art work shops, all of these gave me some level of knowledge I needed to improve my art. I have belonged to many art groups. Currently I belong to the Rideau Lakes Artists Association of which I was President for six years and chair of their annual art show “Paint The Summer” which is in Westport, Ontario on the fourth weekend in August every year.

I am pleased again to participate in the Backroads Studio Tour in North Frontenac which is an annual art event that has always attracted many people to North Frontenac.
